What should I do before the installation begins?
Prior to Roofline Solutions arriving at your home, you should carry out the following steps:
Clear the workspace by cutting back any overhanging foliage and moving any garden furniture to a safe place.
Ensure there is a large enough space available on your driveway or on the road nearby to accommodate a van and workbench. If a parking permit is required, please obtain this too and notify us of any additional restrictions that are in place.
Please request permission from your neighbours if access is required to their property and if they have any questions, please ask them to get in touch with us and we will be happy to speak with them.
Please inform us if no electricity will be available as we may need to charge power tools throughout the duration of the installation.
If you were advised at the survey that ancillary electrical items, gas or water pipes, TV or telephone cables or sky dishes will need to be relocated, please ensure this has been carried out by a competent professional before we arrive for the installation.
If you will be absent during the installation process, please let us know beforehand and provide us with a contact number for whilst you are away from the property.
